 "Dynamic Duo" is a special program designed to recognize an adult individual (family member, grandparent, aunt, uncle, Big Sister or another special friend or guardian) that participates with a registered Girl Scout in Girl Scout related activities/events. Upon completion, the Girl Scout will receive a special patch.
Who
Any registered Girl Scout and an adult may earn this recognition on their own. It does not have to be a troop/group activity. Contact your leader when you have completed the requirements.
When
Your Dynamic Duo may receive their recognition at any time after they have completed all the requirements. The troop/group leader will determine the time of your Dynamic Duo presentation.
How
To become a Dynamic Duo you must completed 6 of the activities listed below. You must complete the starred * activities as part of your requirements.
- *Register with your Girl Scout's troop/group
- Share a skill or talent with the troop/group
- Attend 1 or more troop/group meetings
- Attend 1 or more service unit or council event
- *Help the troop with a community service project
- Help with the troop/group cookie sale
- Serve on the troop committee (transportation, phone, cookie chair, etc.)
- Take training to assist the leader (troop camp, first aid, etc.)
- Help with refreshments
- Help my Girl Scout earn a badge
- *Make a financial contribution to the Girl Scout Council of the Catawba Valley Area
