Program Director – Coordinates all camp events and unit schedules. Coordinates supplies and resources for programs and trips. Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 21; experience in administration and supervision of adults; knowledge of Girl Scout program.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Business Manager – Coordinates the business operations of camp. Manages budget, petty cash
system, purchasing, expenses for off-site trips, record keeping, Trading Post accounts and clerical duties. Experience in money management desired. Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 20; business training helpful; current driver’s license.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Health Supervisor – Operates the camp infirmary. Supervises all aspects of medical care. Gives
immediate first aid. Dispenses medications and follows the physician’s standing orders. Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 21; Registered Nurse, LRN or EMT; recent First Aid/CPR training desired; current driver’s license.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Waterfront Director – Coordinates and supervises all swimming and boating programs and waterfront staff.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 21; current certification in Water Safety Instruction and Lifeguarding or equivalent experience.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Swimming Instructor – Serves as lifeguard. Assists in teaching aquatics and/or small watercraft.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 16; current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent; experience in swimming instruction.
Salary Range: $190 to $300 per week
Unit Leader – Supervises unit staff. Teaches and guides campers in program areas and girls’ decision-making.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 21; ability to teach, guide, and supervise children; current driver’s license.
Salary Range: $225 to $325 per week
Unit Counselor – Teaches and guides campers in program areas and girls’ decision-making.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 18; experience in camping or group leadership.
Salary Range: $190 to $250 per week
Junior Counselor – Assists in planning and implementation of campers’ programs.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 16; experience in camping or group leadership.
Salary Range: $75 to $100 per week
Arts & Crafts Director – Develops and conducts arts and crafts programs. Organizes and maintains supplies and equipment. Trains staff.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 20; ability to develop, organize and conduct creative arts and crafts projects.
Salary Range: $200 to $300 per week
Nature Director – Develops, coordinates, and conducts environmental educational activities. Maintains equipment. Trains staff.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 20; ability to develop, organize and conduct an environmental education program.
Salary Range: $200 to $300 per week
Food Supervisor – Direct food service operation – purchase food, plan menus, prepare food, supervise food service staff, and maintain records and health standards.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 21; experience in quantity food preparation; ability to organize, plan menus.
Salary Range: $300 to $500 per week
Cook – Assist in cooking for campers and staff.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 19; ability to prepare quality meals for large groups.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Kitchen Aide – Food preparation and clean-up of food service.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 16; responsible for assisting in dishwashing, food service, pack-outs and general kitchen cleaning. Light maintenance duties are also required.
Salary Range: $170 to $275 per week
Pack Out – Assist in the cooking for campers and staff. Purchase and pack out supplies for cookouts.
Job Qualifications: Minimum age 18; experience in quantity food preparation; ability to organize, plan menus; current driver’s license.
Salary Range: $225 to $350 per week
Essential Functions:
- ability to communicate with staff and campers in safety regulations and emergency procedures
- visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to activities
- ability to communicate and work with various campers' age and skill levels, and provide
necessary instruction
- ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce safety regulations and emergency procedures, apply behavior-management techniques
- physical ability to respond to situations requiring first aid
- cognitive and communication ability to plan and conduct the activities to achieve camper development objectives
- tripping staff must be able to drive a van
