A s'more is a special treat that Girl Scouts love to make. You might want to try it at your meeting or at a cookout.
Materials
- Graham crackers
- Large marshmallows
- Hershey's milk chocolate bar
- *A long stick or roasting wire to hold over the fire
*Please refer to modified instructions until an adult in your troop has outdoor training.
Directions
1. Break a chocolate bar so that it is the same size as the graham cracker or smaller. Put the chocolate on top of the graham cracker.
2. Put one or two marshmallows on the end of the stick.
*Put marshmallow on top of graham cracker and place in microwave on a paper plate.
3. Use the stick to hold the marshmallows over the fire, but not too close.
*Microwave on high for approximately 12 seconds or until marshmallow begins to soften.
4. When the marshmallows start to melt just a little, take them off the stick (*or remove from the microwave) and put them on top of the chocolate square.
5. Put another graham cracker on top of the marshmallows.
6. Eat it! You'll want s'more. |
