Your girls will have great fun making sleepshirts. For added entertainment, decorate a matching pillowcase!

Materials

• Sponge shapes
• Fabric paints
• Fabric markers
• Puff paints or glitter fabric paints in squeeze bottles
• Glow-in-the-dark paint
• XL plain white T-shirts
• Plain pillowcases

Directions

1. On a large covered area, lay out shirts and pillowcases. Place a big piece of cardboard inside the shirts and pillowcases so paint doesn't bleed through.

2. Pour a thin layer of paint onto several paper plates. Soften sponges in water and wring out completely. Gently dip into paint; blot excess off onto paper towels. Press paint sponge onto T-shirt or pillowcase to transfer design. Repeat as desired with different sponges. Let dry.

3. Add details and dimension with puff and glitter paint. (On the pillowcases, you might add details to the borders only as it might be a little scratchy to sleep on.)

4. After paint is dry, add messages and names with fabric markers.

Now go to sleep, no more talking!
