Color Guard Ceremony

Raising Colors

Color Guard (bearer and guards) advance to position in front of the flag pole or flag stand and remain facing the pole/stands during the entire event. After the ceremony, the Color Guard retires first.

Commands

1. Color Guard present colors
2. Girl Scouts salute
3. Ceremony
4. Color Guard dismissed
5. Ask for announcements
6. Girl Scouts dismissed

Lowering Colors

1. Color Guard advances to position in front of the flag pole/stands and remains facing the pole/stands during the entire event. After the ceremony, the Color Guard retires first.
2. Color Guard lower colors
3. Girl Scouts salute until Flag is lowered
4. Color Guard retire
