Council Wish List

The items on this list would enhance the quality program that the Girl Scout Council of the Catawba Valley Area offers girls. Some of these items might be collecting dust in your garage; others could be funded through a specific financial contribution.

The Council Wish list contains items that you or your organization can donate to the Girl Scouts to help support our mission!

The following items are needed:

• Gift certificates/gift cards to stores such as: Target, AC Moore, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Michaels, Office Max, Office Depot, gas cards
  
  
• Gift Cards/Certificates to area grocery stores such as: Lowe’s, Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Fairvalue, Ingles, Bi-Lo

Donated Services

• Printing services for newsletter, invitations, programs, troop packets, etc.
• Graphic design services for brochures
• Video to support council promotion and fund development

Office Supplies

• Color InkJet or LaserJet printers (preferably HP)
• Pentium 4 Processors — Network optimized — Windows XP
• Printer ink cartridges
• New file cabinets
• Font software for computers
• Copy paper — all colors — 20 lb., 40 lb. and 60 lb.
• Letter size file folders
• Legal pads
• Post-it notes
• Legal size and 10 x 13 envelopes
• Dry erase markers
• Top-loading clear sheet protectors
• Newsprint paper (large and small pads)
• QuarkXpress software
• Portfolios, 2 pocket with three-prong
• Adult size scissors
• Pencils, pens, permanent markers, binder clips

Program/Training Supplies

• American Red Cross First Aid videos for training
• Portable carts to carry training supplies
• Single serving snacks for afterschool programs
• Art and craft supplies, such as markers, paints, glue, paper, crayons, felt, etc.
