Susan Jones
Member-At-Large

Susan Jones was elected to the position of Member-at-Large in March 2005. She was first elected to the GSCCVA Board of Directors in 2005. She has served as Assistant Troop Leader and Parent Volunteer.

“Girl Scouting is essential for girls because through Girl Scouting, girls learn how to be good citizens in all aspects of their lives.”

A seasoned educator, Susan was a former postsecondary vocational teacher for various institutes including ECPI College of Technology, Branell College and Rutledge Junior College of Business. She received her bachelor’s and education specialist degree from Winthrop University and her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. In addition, she is currently a volunteer coordinator on the PTO board for Middle Creek Middle School, volunteers at Sherrills Ford Elementary and was formerly the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Tega Cay Church.
